What at all is digital writing and how many tools do we have of it out there? Please keep reading

Digital writing is defined as “compositions created with, and oftentimes for reading or viewing on a computer or other device that is connected to the internet”

· A traditional writing workshop environment stresses the following activities

Editing Tools

●TwinWord: (Helps the student develop vocabulary.

●EditMinion: The application allows you to type and correct after you have entered the text

Writing/Publishing

StoryJumper is an easy-to-use tool that gives students a template to create their own short story. The tool can be used as an interactive workbook and lesson plans, which spark students' interest in developing and writing complete stories. - https://www.storyjumper.com/

Coding

The second part of the this workshop we learned about coding and travelled through the coding world, played some cool game. In the end, I realised coding is not as scary as it sound but quite intriguing. It help students to

become confident and create their own imaginations while teacher learns from the student who has now become the expert - very cool
